Who operates the site, and the status of these terms

Tasker Tax at taskertax.com is an independent educational publication operated by Tyler Heinrichs in British Columbia, Canada. “We” and “our” refer to that publication and its operator. “You” means a person accessing its public materials.

A public correspondence method is being added. The educational limits described here also appear throughout the site.

These terms govern use of this free publication to the extent an agreement is formed under applicable law. Merely publishing a page does not make every clause enforceable, and reading it does not automatically waive statutory rights.

General education—not an individual tax service

The site explains issues relevant to AI training, data annotation, evaluation, and similar work. It is not a tax preparer, accountant, law firm, investment adviser, employer, work platform, or government agency. It does not file returns, make payments, obtain refunds, determine eligibility, or represent readers in an audit or dispute.

Reading, downloading, or using material here does not establish an accountant-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, employment, or other professional advisory relationship. No material is tailored to your complete financial or legal circumstances. We do not undertake to monitor your situation or remind you of deadlines.

For decisions about filing, worker classification, deductions, credits, estimated payments, business structures, or disputes, consult current official guidance and a qualified professional who can assess your facts. No article promises tax savings, a refund, audit protection, protection from tax penalties, or a particular IRS or court outcome.

Tax law changes, and context changes the answer

Unless a page expressly says otherwise, its scope is US federal taxation. State, local, Canadian, international, residency, treaty, and cross-border issues may require separate analysis. A Canada-based operator writing about US rules does not make this a source of individualized Canadian or cross-border advice.

Tax years and filing years are not interchangeable. A 2026 return may be filed in 2027. Reporting thresholds for a form are not necessarily tax-free allowances, and a platform label or absence of a form does not settle a legal obligation.

Content may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong despite sourcing and checks. Dates identify publication, updates, source checks, or recorded reviews; they do not certify current law or your eligibility. Draft agency instructions, proposals, examples, and final rules must not be treated as interchangeable.

AI-assisted tools are used in developing the publication. AI output can contain errors. A citation, automated validation, or AI-assisted explanation is not a professional tax opinion. A professional review is claimed only where an actual reviewer and date are identified. Official law and applicable final guidance—not a simplified summary here—govern your situation.

Your decisions, records, and confidential information

You remain responsible for checking the rules that apply to you, keeping appropriate records, meeting deadlines, and making accurate filings and payments. Do not use this publication as your only source for a decision with tax, legal, or financial consequences. Examples are illustrative and may omit facts or exceptions relevant to you.

Do not send us tax documents, identification numbers, banking details, platform credentials, or confidential client or employer material. This site has no secure document portal, and communicating with a publication is not a substitute for a protected professional engagement. Respect any confidentiality obligations you have to a platform or client.

/06

Reasonable use, copyright, and attribution

You may browse, link to, and print or save material for your own reference. Short quotations with appropriate attribution and a link to the source are welcome. Nothing here limits fair use, fair dealing, public-domain rights, accessibility uses, or other rights provided by law.

Rights in original site materials belong to the operator or the relevant rights holder to the extent copyright or other rights exist. Third-party and government materials remain subject to their own legal status. We do not claim ownership of IRS publications, tax law, or every item produced with AI assistance.

Do not falsely present the site as a licensed professional service, impersonate its operator, sell its original materials as your own, distribute malware, bypass access controls, or deliberately disrupt its availability. Reasonable search-engine indexing and ordinary linking are not prohibited. Permission for broader reuse of protected original materials may require the rights holder’s authorization.

/07

Availability and warranty limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publication is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of completeness, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We may correct, revise, remove, or reorganize material, and the site may be unavailable or discontinued.

We do not promise that a page will remain available, that every error will be found, or that any information will be suitable for your situation. These limits do not override an express obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded or a mandatory consumer or other statutory protection.

/08

Liability limits—and rights that stay yours

To the extent permitted by applicable law and any enforceable agreement, the operator disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use this publication. That may include consequential losses involving business interruption, lost opportunities, or a reader’s tax decisions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer protections, privacy rights, and available legal remedies remain unaffected. If a limitation is not allowed in your circumstances, it does not apply to that extent.

There is no claim that a disclaimer eliminates the operator’s legal responsibilities. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, an arbitrary damages cap, or a blanket obligation for you to indemnify the operator.

/09

Privacy and communications are separate matters

The Privacy policy describes current application behavior, selected hosting, and planned analytics. A dedicated privacy-contact channel is being added. These terms are not consent to analytics, marketing, sale of personal information, or other future processing.

No public contact or correction channel is offered yet. Until one is provided, do not assume that the operator can receive or respond to a question, deletion request, legal notice, or correction through this site. The channel will be published here when available; its absence does not suspend legal obligations or require you to surrender a right.

Once a channel is offered, do not assume a message creates a confidential professional relationship or a duty to act on your tax affairs. Any proposed publication of a personal story, testimonial, or identifying correspondence should be addressed separately, with appropriate permission.

Changes, applicable law, and disputes

The date at the top identifies this version. Material changes will be accompanied by appropriate notice and a clear effective date. A change does not retroactively rewrite an existing dispute or remove rights without a valid legal basis. If a new feature requires a separate agreement or consent, a generic terms update is not a substitute.

The site is operated from British Columbia, Canada, for readers interested in US tax information. These terms do not select an exclusive court or require you to give up protections available under mandatory law where you live. Applicable law, jurisdiction, and enforceability depend on the circumstances.

If a provision is unenforceable, it should be limited or separated only to the extent the law permits; the remaining valid provisions may continue to apply. Any final dispute-resolution or governing-law provision should be reviewed for this operator and audience rather than copied from an unrelated service.
